Hi friends :)<\/p>

I have heard that newsletters are one of the best ways to reach your customers and followers so it\u2019s been on my to do list for approximately 5 years but I\u2019ve never bitten the bullet, until now, as last week I sent my first ever newsletter! Yay! I don\u2019t know what I was waiting for as it was very easy :D<\/p>

The same goes for writing a blog, which I have never done either but have been meaning to, so welcome to my first blog post haha.<\/p>

I\u2019m using this first blog to share the contents of my first newsletter so people who haven\u2019t signed up yet can see what it said!<\/p>

Going forward I will use this blog to share news, updates and behind the scenes of Wren & Wilson and also maybe some small business tips for other illustrators like me.<\/p>

\"pod\"A LITTLE LIFE UPDATE<\/strong><\/h2>

Oh hello friends and happy spring!<\/strong><\/p>

I hope March is treating you well so far :)<\/p>

My life has changed a little recently as we have welcomed a new member to our family - Bernie the cat!<\/p>

He is a rescue cat and 1.7 years old, he's fully grown but still quite small. He has lovely white whiskers and the fur on his chest is the softest thing ever. He will let you stroke his tummy (he actively encourages it!) which feels like a forbidden luxury as my old cat would have ripped my hand clean off.<\/p>

\"pod\"You may have noticed more cat related designs<\/a> creeping into my shop recently and that is thanks to Bernie, my new muse! Or should I say meows? haha<\/em><\/p>

\"pod\"He has basically sent me down a rabbit hole (cat hole?<\/em>) of making cat drawings and I cannot be contained!!<\/p>

I have created a whole new set of designs which are now available on bags, t-shirts and greeting cards. And I'm working on some more designs to add to the collection. (Plus one of my cat greeting card designs has been featured as one of Thortful's best selling cards<\/u><\/a>! woop)<\/p>

\"pod\"<\/a>I've been wanting to make a cat version of my best selling 'Dogs Are Good<\/u><\/a>' design for a while now and I think it is finally going to happen - watch this space!<\/p>
